Morgan Stanley Adds Former CIA Officer To Board

has appointed former Central Intelligence Agency official Jami Miscik to its board, replacing Griff Sexton, who is retiring after nine years.

Miscik is president and vice chairman of consulting firm Kissinger Associates. Prior to joining Kissinger Associates in 2009, she was the global head of sovereign risk at Lehman Brothers, and also served as a senior advisor to Barclays Capital. Before entering the private sector, Miscik had a 20-year career in intelligence, ultimately serving as the Central Intelligence Agency's deputy director for intelligence.

Sexton has been a director since September 2005. He has served as an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School and visiting lecturer at Princeton University. Before his academic career, he was an investment banker and advisory director at Morgan Stanley
